İÇDAŞ Iron and Steel Works, which is one of our country's 10 biggest establishments, chose to go with Honeywell CCTV products in their Biga, Mahmutbey and Ikitelli factories and Ambarli Mardas facilities to be able to provide for security and watch the production line. 

The main reason for going with Honeywell cameras was it's BMB feature which helped deal with the extreme lighting in the production line, the sunlight and wind in outdoor locations and the need to run 24 hours a day, while still being able to get a colour image in even candle light. The application has especially reduced the number of work-related accidents in the plants. 

The İÇDAŞ Biga facility is the size of a county with it's own power plant, iron and steel works, ports and dockyard. The camera system is able to run on both fiber optic infrastructure and co-axial cable. Using the principle applied with MOBESA, authorised people are able to view the facility from anywhere in the world. More than 500 cameras placed around the facility enable a 24 hour a day colour view of the facility which has led to better controls and fewer accidents.

The İÇDAŞ factory is unquestionable when it comes to environment and quality awards
